Export of Stock and Semen
We have successfully entered the export market selling live stock to at least 6 countries throughout Europe. Two of our high reference rams have been selected for semen, which has been successfully used in Canada, South America as well as Europe.
Facilities have been developed in the UK for Artificial Insemination, and worldwide distribution of semen from high referenced rams.
Semen and AI can be a cost effective way of improving your blood lines.

The Breed...
The Hampshire Down is a traditional native and respected breed Established on the South Downs in Hampshire over many years. The Hampshire Down Sheep Breeders’ Association was formed in 1889 and will be celebrating 125 years anniversary in October 2014.
The ‘Hamp’ has many fine natural attributes:
- A hardy breed where you can expect longevity in the rams.
- Renowned for fast finishing on grass
(12 weeks). - Easy lambing with offspring keen to get up and suck after birth.
- Good conformation with lambs grading well at slaughter.
- Particularly successful terminal sire on many types of sheep but especially on Suffolk cross, Lleyns and Mule ewes.
- All our rams are Signet recorded with particular emphasis on growth rates and eye muscle with only moderate fat.
